So, I reinvent the wheel a lot. This is a collection of things I've reinvented, and my general take on them. Some of these things I've used implementations of before, and are implemented in a pretty accepted way. Others I heard about in passing and ended up implenting how I thought it should work. So as a fair warning, some things may not be proper.

I also use this page mostly as a "stream of conciousness". Mostly as a public notebook - mostly because it makes it easy to ask the opinions of my friends on ideas, and because it's automatically backed up for me. If something gets sufficiently mature, I'll hopefully write a proper article.

Also, if somehow you found this page, uhmm, wow? Also, sorry about the low-tech appraoch at the moment. I'm trying to figure out a layout that works well, and then will code some tools around that. I've been out of the web game for nearly four years, and my efforts are focused somewhere else. If I start doing something so often that I can think of a simple database schema to manage it and I don't think I'll grow out of, I'll implement, and hopefully the page itself will evolve. The first thing though is to just make sure I use it.

• File Stream built of bit_packer. Using internally two buffers that go back and forth.
• Async file close isn't apparent that it may still be using buffers used in other file calls, add op counting for file operations
• File size operation is by default blocking - add in a non-blocking version.
• Add some ref_count utility functions.
• Some thought into job chains that don't require multiple job_operation handles
• Bitmap Font Loading
• A basic debug_render_text function.
• Change atomic inc and dec to use Microsoft Functions
• Add ref_count support into the lockless hash table.
